our story

In 1998…

…we gathered a group of three to start shop and bought a handful of manual lathe and drilling machines. Officially, there was only one manager whose job description was… well… managerial duties. In reality though, the small size of our shop meant that everyone had to know the schedule, how to operate the machines and how to maintain them properly. We had no fancy tools. All we had was some basic measurement equipment and a piece of paper. So, to stand out from our competition, we made it our mission to double and triple check everything so that the final product meets all the standard that our customers demand. It was not easy, but we always believed that this kind of commitment would pay off.

Thankfully, it did. Much sooner than we anticipated in fact. In the early 2000s, we were finally able to afford our first CNC milling machine. It was a Japanese-made Mori Seiki NV5000. And again, the reason we chose this machine stems from our passion for quality. Whereas cheaper machines could make something that LOOKS similar, most couldn’t match the precision that we could achieve with this machine. Once again, our bets paid off. Because of our competitive advantage, quality, we had a steady stream of returning customers. And within a few years, we were able to expand our shop capabilities by acquiring our second and third milling machines along with several other supporting machines such as 3D printers, Wire cut EDM machines, and many others.

Nowadays, we look back at our initial hardships fondly. It is how we remind ourselves that quality is what differentiates us from the competition. It is how we assure our business partners that we will reciprocate their trust in us accordingly. It is, most importantly, how we stay true to ourselves and you.
